You using a rattle can to paint these because your getting some class results, they look mint. Also did you sand out the texture or just paint straight on with primer then colour then lacquer? Looks class

yeah just with cans, and with these they dont really have much texture anyway so just used steel wool to make sure they are all smooth then primed and sprayed

Cleaned the car today inside and out and have raised the exhaust to stop it hitting the rear axle, which was getting very annoying.
before

After being raised up

Video of it starting up and revving with no knocking

Looks clean bud, do you literally just smear peanut butter on the plastics?

Yeah rub it on with an old cloth then buff back off with a clean one
Want them painted very soon so don't want to spend money on any products for them

Might try that as they look proper shiny, most car care products on shelves are so unnecessary

If you are having them paitned soon dont use anything on them, the less product on them the better and less work for the bodyshop to remove it all

Nah, a quick rub with mayonnaise will get rid of any peanut butter

Yeah as I was spreading the peanut butter on the plastics I was thinking it was probably bad idea from the point of view of being painted soon as I'm basically rubbing oil on them but they had gotten so faded they were making car look scruffy

No real update.
Spent this morning aligning the bonnet properly as it still wasn't right before, happy with it now.
Then cleaned the car and got some nice photos
