Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - 8/10 overall very good, great cgi and animations, only downside a bit predictable in places

I loved Super 8! I thought it was very authentic and felt like ET.

Horses for courses mate. I disliked all the cast, the train crash was the most ridiculous thing I have ever, ever seen. It was predictable and boring.
Didn't get the ET vibe or the Goonie vibe, all I got was lens flare and faux retro setting that wasn't believable in the slightest.

That was one of the things I liked the most.
To be fair, I got my mates to watch it and they thought the same as you!

The Golden Compass 3/10 Abit crap, doesn't do the book justice at all, not surprised they aren't making the other books
Hugo 8.5/10 Surprised that I liked it as much as I did, the boy that plays Hugo is brilliant. Would definitely recommend.
The Grand Budapest Hotel 8/10
Moonrise Kingdom 6/10. Was hoping for more after TGBH but not a terrible film. Could do with more stuff actually happening, saved by the big names in it abit.
Beetlejuice 8/10. Never seen it before, enjoyed it.

Lego movie 8/10 - excellent film. Good story line and made me laugh a few times. It also has the most random thing I have ever seen in a film (the milhouse part). Can't get the song out of my head

Need for speed. Loved it. 8/10.
Cheesy, but the cars are lovely. New mustang looks much better in rolling shots rather than the static ones i've seen.
