Just got back,

England were predictably crap and tactically inept. The players looked like they couldn't be fucking assed to play for England. They didn't look for the ball when we had it or put the Croatians under pressure when they had it. The only 3 players on the park who played with any sort of pride were Beckham, Crouch and Wright Phillips. Gerrard had the worst game I think I've ever seen him play. Absolutely fucking useless. I say bollocks to them all if they can't be fucked to play for England then the under 21's can play all the senior matches and we'll build a squad for the future.

David Beckham however is an England legend and does not deserve to be lumped in with the rest of them. When he came on he looked for the ball, got back and ran his legs off. Also at the end of the match after the team had been booed off the pitch he stayed out and walked to every stand and applauded the fans. He must have been out on his own for about 10 minutes whilst the Croations were celebrating. The man is clearly proud to wear the shirt and proud to play for England something that can't be said about the rest of the squad.

get mclaren out cos hes shite and always has been, get someone up to the job in with a good passion and then look at restructuring the way the national team is picked

leave out these tossers who are only good in the premier league cos they are surrounded by foreign talent and getting paid shitloads to play

Its not about me being proved right that I thought Mclaren was the wrong choice. The whole England set up needs to be looked at and I don't think that would ever happen if we were still qualifying for tournaments.
I would love to have seen us there next year but I think this is going to be good for the English game

I'd rather we wer ein Euro 2008 but with McLaren sacked... lets face it, it would only have been the same old rubbish and we would have been eliminated early and ten have to go into the WC quals with a new mgr, at least this way they have time to build form now
