I think if he starts taking out the bits that make it a nice daily driver still, it'll ruin the car.

Its not a dedicated track car.

Road noise and condensation dripping on your head would send you over the edge

My last RR it ran 324bhp, I'd say 28bhp on an N/A is a big difference! And if it's power you want then don't stay with N/A, the drive ability and way the power puts down is what N/A is all about, it's going to be awesome on track which is what I want :-)

Was having the same conversation with my mate about losing more weight out the car on the way home

It's at an acceptable level as it is anymore and it wouldn't be a road car anymore..can do small things such as my stereo comes with a massive 'brain' whereas I could buy a standalone unit which has everything in the unit and lose a lot of weight taking the Sat Nav, CD changer, radio transmitter, 'brain' & DVD unit. Also my battery is huge, but again it's got to power all the stuff in my car & turnover a big engine, so I don't want some pony battery that's going to run out every other day and leave me stranded :-/

Nice one! Good to see some nice gains on it with the airbox and map!
Different engine I know but going alpha n and getting an evolve map transformed my car!

Looking good too!!

Thanks Mark! Definetly a different car, pulls so hard to the redline now, few stutters every now & again but he said give the ECU time to learn. The sound of the airbox is so addictive!

Cheers Fad

Got a Macht Schnell Race Stud Kit to make wheel swapping easier. Plus they look very cool

Test fitted the Team Dynamics. Going from a 8.5J with a 235 tyre too 9J with 265 tyre I knew I'd be playing about with spacers & different length wheel bolts (wanted to check wheel fitment before doing studs)

Think I need to take the spacer off

Spacer removed, think its a 15mm spacer need to measure it as it had nothing printed on it except Eibach, much better fitment

2 wheels on

Done

Put the spacer on the rear from the front as the rear has gone from 265 10J to 265 9J. The rear looks like it could do with a bigger spacer to fill the arch more but the tyre is close to the arch due to a 265 on a smaller wheel not giving it the 'tuck' that I get on the BBS's. I like it, gives a nice aggressive track slag look.
Not really tested it handling wise, won't really know what it's like until track to get the tyres up to temperature.

Got a big list of jobs to do before Snetterton. 11 days to go...
