I stopped checking when they were 200-6,assuming we'd win... Oh dear.
They need to send Root home, he's a mess with the bat.
Also dont agree with negative Cook as ODI captain while broad is out. Have no idea whether he was to blame today, but he is a negative captain on the field imo

Saw a bit of that earlier, he was on 50 and hit a glorious lofted drive straight over the bowlers head, crazy he went on to get that much, they were 7/8 down at the time!

I guess you're all at work, and not watching this abysmal performance from the T20 team?

Well, abysmal fielding performance anyway, the batting hasn't been bad from Hales and Morgan!

Amazing innings by Hales. Just stunning. England's fielding was possibly the worst you'll see them do. But Morgan and Hales. Outstanding

not too great! Can only see it getting worse too tbh, especially if Chapple hangs em up.
Can't argue with Yorkshire this year, 10 of the 11 on the field came through the academy, some stat that. Unfortunately for them though success loses players, England must be looking at Lyth now, especially with no contract for Robson.
In other news our club was featured on Sky the other week

Aye the academy has worked really well for us and Lyth has more than earned his England call up, Robson cant keep his place after recent performances.
We're kind of used to losing players now, Root, Plunkett and Ballance have hardly played for us Theres decent strength all over though, Sidebottom has been class.

Classic England. Get rid out the most out of form player and replace him with the 2nd most out of form player...

In fairness, the one game Morgan captained in Sri Lanka was his highest score, might bring the best out of him. It obviously wasn't helping Cook. I still think they'll have Cook opening unfortunately though

Poor old Cook, dunno what on earth has gone wrong over the last 18 months or so. Such a talented batsman it's ridiculous, was due to be England's highest ever run scorer in the near future too. But he will be back, no doubt about it. Still wish we had KP as well. Ashes next summer I think?!
