Abraham Lincoln-Vampire Hunter. A generous 5/10

Not completely gash, watchable but not brilliant. Probably wouldn't watch again. A nice alternative to history but felt like it could have been executed better.

Sex tape 5/10.

Looks like a decent idea, just executed badly! Took way to long to get going, and some quick laughs stopped it from being a lower score.

Big Fish -8/10

Really enjoyed it. I've always found the Tim Burton films to be a little hit and miss but this one has some of his trademarks without it being overpowering which i liked. It felt a lot like Edward Scissorhands to me which i liked, a nice mix of dark and light. Storyline was good too, would recommend

Stone of Destiny - 7/10

Quite fitting given what is currently going on in Scotland.

Stag - 1/10 - It's essentially a story around a guys (Donald Faison; Turk from Scrubs) stag doo who believes he's going to be heavily pranked at his as he's always pulling 'outrageous' pranks at his friends stags; except it doesn't play out like that.
It's a terribly shite and weak storyline acted by a load of debatable actors; not worth watching the trailer let alone the film.

I found it a reasonable watch, at least a 6. Granted i did think it'd be funnier and the characters/acting between Giovanni Ribisi and Sarah Silverman was a tad shite, seemed very wooden, but i still think it managed to offer a good few handfuls of laughs and the storyline wasn't completely shambolic.
It's definitely comparable to Ted, so if you liked that then you probably will like A Million Ways to Die in the West too.

Saving Mr Banks - 6/10

It was ok. It lost my attention towards the end and I think it was a bit lost trying to portray PL Travers dislike of the adaptation.

Dangerous Days: On the Edge of Blade Runner - 9/10

Documentary about the making of Blade Runner. Listening to what thought processes went in to the film, the visuals and actor inputs to their respective parts it makes you appreciate the film a lot more. I'd go as far as to say this documentary is better than the film it is about. It is also interesting that the people who made it are not entirely satisfied with the film, as I have 5 different cuts and I think they are all flawed.

Enders game 8/10 better than I thought. It didn't need the last 5 mins but still a lot better than I was expecting

American Hustle 6/10

Was looking forward to waiting this, but turned out to be slightly meh. Story line seemed to be fairly lightweight, movie is lifted by some very good performances

Amy Adams was very good , also like to congratulate the costume team

The Wolf of Wall Street 7/10

I'm a bit behind the times with only just getting round to watching this.

Never really appealed to me when it first came out, but a colleague described it to me at work yesterday so i thought i'd give it a watch.

Too long, but an interesting watch. I quite like films which are based on a true event. It reminded me of the film "Blow".

Her.

Don't know if any film can ever get a 10/10, but this was really really good I thought.

Great acting and a very intriguing concept for a story line. Truly great film.

A Time To Kill - 7/10

Courtroom drama about a black man who kills 2 men who are on their way to court after they rape his 10 year old daughter in Missisippi which results in the reemergance of the KKK. A prominantely white and racist area his white lawyer doesn't think they will get a fair trial and unbiast jury. The cast was pretty phenomenal - Samuel L Jackson, Matthew Mcconaughey, Sandra Bullock, Donald Sutherland, Keifer Sutherland, Kevin Spacey. The jury pretty much know how they are going to vote until Mcconauhey gives his emotional closing speech. The film was quite good but it hasn't aged very well and being on film4 meant the adverts ensured the 9pm film didn't finish until almost midnight
