one jesus christ handle which i don't see what its doing on the driver side, as I'm not going to be in a crash and think fuck, i best let go of the grip on my steering wheel and reach for a little handle in the roof. anyway.



holes don't line up with the sunglasses holder i bought, as its for a vw beetle. no problem.



don't worry, i did tidy the hole up with the dremel in the end. its only rough so i could get the shape to start with and used as an example of the difference in location. then drilled a hole in the metal behind so i could put the screw into it.



and done. smart.

hope to get on with removing the wood this week from the back so i can start doing the insides into a kombi a bit better.

should add, progress is slow, as tbh it does everything i need at the moment anyway the van, plus I've got other things in life to be doing with my time. its really nice to have more than one interest/expenditure in life these days. times are good.

Glasses cases are handy to be fair. Just think there are hundreds of vinyl patterns available and a chequered flag design is a bit cliché
