there must be tell tale signs when the engine was in the car if the guides are ALL cracked???

help

u wouldnt notice if they were cracked. its probably been in a smash before, has prob had new valves but they may have not noticed the cracked guides. can sometimes be hard to spot. if they are cracked they can sometimes break off and end up in the head so get them all swapped if they are at all iffy

indeed. i bought a head off a mate with bent valves from an xe. chucked it on mine. obviously the bent valves had maybe tiny stress fractures that couldnt really be seen. needless to say i needed a new head and some new pistons. neither of which was cheap to replace.

if they say they knackered, get them replaced. will save you loads more hassle than you know. cracked valve guides plus added heat from running more boost than std is only going to end in a bad way really.

choice of 2 wheels.

rota grids in 16's in white

or

calibra dtm 16's in white

would rather the calibra wheels as will fit into my arches better but there hard to get hold of.

need 16's though due to my brakes
