After 9 weeks the dvla have finaly got off there arses and sent me a quite loverly 21st birthday present

So got my strut brace back

paint work is absolutley brilliant work as always from ricky



just the one quick pic, bonnets done so will be getting that back in the next day or 2

Finaly got my bonnet fitted after about a week of being lazy
looks awsome with a body coloured bonnet on instead of a rusty one

but looks a fully different colour in these photo's





but as you can see in this picture its not, that colour is just realy hard to photograph in the sun



Just need my tyres, my rear plastics (off dan) and to fit my strut brace
oh and a bloody good clean and polish

then shes all done me thinks

Driving? I wish. Been sitting with a Vauxhall specialist for the last 2 weeks now trying to get it fixed. Turning out to be a right pain in the bollocks!

How long to she's on the road mate?

We're still unsure whats at fault at the minute but when it gets hot it's very hard to start and when it does start it backfires like mad and throws out loads of black smoke, but when its started from cold its totally fine.

He's changed CTS, rewired CTS, changed ignition coil, dizzy, wiring loom, ECU, fuel pump and god knows what else and its still not working properly. Hopefully it doesn't cost me too much

would it not be cheaper just to get another conversion mate? Not to put a downer on it though
Sounds like one of them things that after changeing every sensor and gasket and part you can, will end up being something daft like a broken wire :/

Hope it gets sorted soon mate.
Or atleast for pvs next year, we still have our race down the strip agreement!

It probably would've been cheaper to do another conversion but after having all the work done to it it would seem a bit pointless ripping it all out now. Shouldn't be too long now though, going to try yet another wiring loom, and if that doesn't work then I don't know what he's going to try next. All part of the fun of old Vauxhalls

And I haven't forgot about that race down the strip

Actualy nothing at the moment to be honest ben had a bit of a hectic few weeks

so havnt realy had too much time to spend on the ginge

Tyres are on order. Will be here in a few days so asoon as i get time to fit them she will be on her proper wheels instead of steelies
Need to get the last 2 or 3 peices of interiour soon to finish it off
Then she will be cleaned, corrected and protected and put in the garage untill the new year when i can insure her properly
Theres a few bits i will be getting done here and there. will update properly with some pics and stuff in a few days when the wheels are on. But for now thats about it

Well despite saying theres no update there is.

Boot is off and ill be takeing it into work this week to weld up the wiper motor hole and then its going straight into rickys to be smoothed and full boot respray.

so that just leaves the 2 sides to be painted and it would of had a full respray
Hopefully getting that done bit by bit to be honest
