*****UPDATE*****

Ok as some of you may know, the car has been overfuelling and I thought it was the AFM buggering up so went and did a paperclip test today to find out. It was thinking it had a Lamba which it doesn't as it's the early engine. So did a bit of research and it ended up with me having to earth the wire that goes to the o2 sensor. Did that and EML has gone off! Will take it out later and see if it has actually cured my problem! Fingers crossed!

Lol, not sure what now though, my heart was set on a 2.0 8v but insurance doesnt like it. May look at doing a MPi conversion on my 1.4 8v, then further tuning potential

How much was insurance on the 2.0l 8v? I'm paying 1600 with all mods declared on this. Was supposed to be 1100 but Adrian flux messed up my quote

Well before my quotes were stupid, spose i could try now, it went down to 1100 this year, did you just get quotes on a cavalier to get the right idea?

No I rang up flux mate, got them to put it through. Took time as insurance does but the quote is accurate

My mate is the same age as me with no no claims bonus and can get insured on a focus rs for £2400
