But we have spent £25m nearly on 2 new strikers to supplement him before the transfer window even opeed!
what about the areas of your team where you are shit?
there are no such areas really. our defenders are perfectly adequate, the problem is they are not a cohesive and strong enough unit... vermaelen is too cavalier and they arent getting protected well enough by Song, whos forays forward are affecting his holding game. We hold a well documented interest in M'Vila as well as other potentuial true defensive midfielders (Biglia also) who hopefully could be the missing key to knit the unit together. personally id liked to ahve seen vertonghen come in too but realistically we cant have Vermaelen, Koscienly, Mertesacker AND Vertonghen, irresepctive of whether we flog Djourou
I seem to remember discussing the fact that ADSB's wandering from his holding role isn't exciting, it's dangerous but you all loved it.
it was at first, but as he started getting better at it he clearly started enjoying it more and the holding role became of less interest to him i reckon he'd make a good CAM tbh

Just took the RVP poster down off the back of Alfie's bedroom door. Thought he wouldn't notice. He did. There were tears.

I hope you explained the ins and outs of contracts to him, and why Arsenal decide to let big players contracts run right down until the end

He's already made his son cry once. Dont make him do it again!

"Now son, the reason we cant have RVP anymore is because we're not very good, he wants to go to a team that wins things and we just cant give him that. On the plus side though son, look at these financial reports, we are making a healthy profit and the sale of RVP will only improve this further, good eh?"

It was more along the lines of "your favourite player is leaving, because the board are clueless cunts"

Without the "cunts" obv.

More info, Fryers in next week as reported. Pienaar can go to Everton for £4.5m but at the min they "can't afford it". Arsenal have bid £12 for Lloris but expect us to match it. United think Moutinho is too inconsistent.

I know robbo wasn't sure on Lloris or the truth in it but as said before its the same bloke and he's normally right, I'd have him for £12m, I rated frieldel highly but honestly can't see him carrying on next season.

Why do we need Lloris?

We need a decent back up keeper for Chesney and Lloris isn't one. Ches won't sit on bench again either.

I hope you didn't mentally scar him, kids shouldn't have to see parents crying - especially at such a young age.
