Watched this years ago and thought it was absolute dog shit
The hype around it always made me wonder if I needed to give it another chance
Amazing film. I couldn't fault it.
If Javier Bardem had played Raoul Silva with even half of the menace that he delivered as Anton in 'No Country', then Skyfall would have been an utterly flawless film.

Unbroken - 6/10
Was a good enough film but was constantly waiting for something big to happen and it never really did

Big Hero 6
Well, the 3 year old got a bit restless during it, but that's just her.
Really did enjoy it, first time I've burst out laughing at a film for ages, and its not even a comedy.

The Place Beyond The Pines - 7/10
Wasn't what I was expecting at all. Started off a la Drive - Art house, hardly any dialogue with long staring scenes. The second and third acts really surprised me and it felt like 3 completely different films. Reminded me of when I saw Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me. Brilliant performances all round and a well made film.

Me and my partner watched Big Hero 6 this evening. Really really enjoyed it. Big fan of Disney and Universal animations and this one didn't disappoint.

I was thinking of watching this later on Russ.
If I've not seen memento (but have seen 50 first dates), am I likely to enjoy it more?

Foxcatcher 4/10 - One of those oscar contender films that just bore the hell out of me, acting was brilliant and Steve Carrell made every scene awkward like John Du Pont actually did, but was still an anti-climatic film.
