They concluded that Paul_J was Derren Brown himself, apparently.

Why does anyone think that previous lottery draws effect the outcome of the next draw. They are all separate unrelated events. Its like saying a with a flip of a coin that a head is more likely to be flipped because your previous attempt was also a head.

Anyone tried the coin trick? Doesn't work, just done it.
HTH, so T moves in front of the first H, reverses, leaving HHH right?
I got HTH 10 times, and HHH 7 times!

Did you have everyone cheering you on tho kz? ... what a load of horse shit.
He probably filmed and re-filmed a load of times till they got the score they wanted to try and prove that it's a just bollocks.
IF you saw the lottery results, and were able to go back in time, and put on a ticket for that lottery, would the numbers be the same?
I say no, because as said, it's a random event, even if you have no relevance on the draw, and don't affect it in any way, it's a random event and the numbers would most likely be different to the previous result.
(little bit off topic, admittedly)

sums it up really:
In his book Tricks of the Mind, Brown writes, "I am often dishonest in my techniques, but always honest about my dishonesty. As I say in each show, 'I mix magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship'. I happily admit cheating, as it's all part of the game. I hope some of the fun for the viewer comes from not knowing what's real and what isn't. I am an entertainer first and foremost, and I am careful not to cross any moral line that would take me into manipulating people's real-life decisions or belief systems."

David Blane pre 'I'm sitting in a box doing nothing' and 'I'm in a block of ice doing nothing' is good to watch
I saw abit of that programme last night and forgot how good he is to watch. Yeah, its all trickery with the camera and the crowds are likely to be 'in' on the act but its entertaining unlike 'I'm predicting the lotto, then going to tell you a total lie about how I did it'

If time travel existed there'd be no such thing as random.

But, if you have already seen that draw, them numbers will be the numbers, its not like they would be drawn again

Oh yeah
Just watched it again, I thought when you moved the middle one over you got rid of it, obviously that's not the case. Anyway, just done it again with HTH vs HHT...
HTH: 10
HHT: 8
Still pretty un-conclusive!
