I hope they haven't got Sanchez, that's all i'm saying. Although i've said that about a few of the players they've signed previously and considering the number of them (!) they haven't made the impact I would have thought so far. I'd quite like to see a big shift in the squad though, unsettle the existing players a bit more (in a bad way).

BTW lots of noises today that the King (yeah I know) will sign a contract before the Spurs game. Also reporting we are in the lead to sign young for about £12m, be decent business that.

Young won't leave for £12m IMO seeing as they are seemingly cash rich at the moment (Bent for £24m). Unless his contract is running out.

A year left and won't sign another one. I think £12 is fair all things considered, but it may be a little more if united's interest etc is real.

English pricetag, would be half that if he was foreign, £12m is more than many would pay for an good to avergae prem player, also, he aint young no more

re: Sanchez, he will have the pick of teams, if berba goes (cant see it) i can see Sanchez going to united, shame Udinese are selling him though as him and Di Natale are an excellent pair, but no prem team will want a 31/32 year old Italian

Agreed, there is always a premium on english players. I suppose it's a bit of a safegaurd that they won't fancy a move home, god knows. We already have a decent british core now so don't see the need to go and buy players because they are english but I rate young and think he'd be a good addition to a squad that's going to be busy next season.
