If you've got a multi-tool with a chain breaker, alen keys and a screwdriver, tyre leavers, spare tubes and a pump there's not much you can't deal with on the trail

Loads of segments! Well done on the PBs, a fair amount there.

I did a dry run of a local triathlon bike and run leg this morning with a mate who is actually doing the triathlon next month. Good run out bike leg could have been quicker but was waiting for him a lot. Run we got separated and he went the wrong way, I got lost twice and ended up running over a mile extra

Quite tempted to do a triathlon now. :s

Got loads of data in Runkeeper - if I can migrate it all then I might give it a shot.

Not sure about that, would need to check.

I think if you can save all the run keeper data as GPX files you can then load them onto Strava..... Possibly?!

Very pleasant day up at Llandegla today.

Went with partner who is very new to mountain biking and as such needs to build up some confidence on the trails before tearing down any red routes.

What a cracking venue. I have not been there since 2008 and it's improved massively!
Spend half an hour in the skills area before we set off and practised some jumping which I havent done for 5-6 years.

Also did some technical stuff like drop offs etc but need more practice on them

We then set off on the blue loop and I was pleasantly surprised. There was enough to keep me occupied with some berms and jumps which Bea could just roll over.

To be honest the blue route here is not far off some of the red routes in Cannock!

I think we are heading back there tomorrow and Bea will try the blue again and I might peel off and do the full red.

All in all, Llandegla is well worth visiting, as much for the additional areas as the actual trails which are well built and well maintained.
