Can't say I've heard him being touted as Cabaye replacement, like you say I would have expected him to play a sort of No. 10 type role. Personally I think Pardew will look to drop Sissoko in to his more natural central midfield role rather than on the wing were he played most of last season, but we need a couple of wide men in before he can even consider that.

Di Maria to united is gathering a lot of momentum. Out of all of our big targets (vidal, kroos, robben, Hummels, cuardado so on) it seems the most realistic. Would be ecstatic if he joined but I won't believe a thing until the player is holding a united shirt

I heard that earlier. Not sure how that works.
He loves his country and would do anything to win for them. (E.g. getting sent off so they didnt concede in the final minute 4 years ago, sacrificing himself, put putting his team through) I find it unlikely that he'd basically put his team out of the world cup for a move

From what I've seen, he's a young Gerrard. Maybe a bit more skilful and a bit less of a leader, but he does look good.
