A lot of measuring. It didn't help that we had to do a new diff tunnel and exhaust tunnel.
Much prefer it on those wheels still.

I never once said i converted the cav to them, i said to them the 1.2s was painful after owning a LET cav.
All i did with the cav was fix the speedo, weld the holes and fit some ice and better suspension....
Graeme - nah was bored of those wheels, garage door is being fixed next wed so we will see some pics then
In other news just won some scooby wheels with brand new AD08R tyres for £238 on ebay
205 45 16 should fit great -
Get the tyres off them and on my wheels - then sell the wheels on - happy days

Lol hes not my mate just some guy who bought some parts from me..... He did actually say i could tell the story once case was over tbh
So from what i know....
Johnny never ever had a licence, his xe corsa was the last straw for his preggers mrs who said any more driving and its over...
Johnny wanted to get on at work and had been promised an expensive training course should he jump through so many hoops
He did and wasnt given what was promised so had a row with his boss - who went straight to his and told his mrs he had been driving vans etc
His boss had been paying money into a fake business who johnny was in control of, he was getting divorced or something so wanted to protect his assets
Johnny transfered the £80k into his own account and fucked off, buying m5s, loads of corsa bits, commisioning beardy to build his etc having holidays
Police siezed his assets and m5, he couldnt pay beardy, went to court, got locked up as far as fb says....
Its all a bit pie in the sky and im really not sure whats true tbh
He seems a nice enough kid in person tbh, sure beardy will agree and the other members such as luke who he leant then sold his corsa gsi too.
Doesnt seem capable of this anyways but hey ho apparently its true
I always thought he was full of shit, i never actually seen the m5 but he did randomly ask if i wanted it for 6months... I declined as i dont want to be involved with his shit at all - just some kid who bought some corsa parts as far as i know him
(He told me all this when buying the gsi with his pal btw)

I spoke to him about work etc...
He was working self employed(ish) being paid via an umbrella company, they will now want tax off him for all that money too 
This is what happens when a scaff is given the means to earn stupid money, they're brains can't cope with it.
I've seen it happen with welders, plater, scaffs, painters etc on the rig refurbs I've worked on, It's usually a gateway into a major coke habit.
Sounds to me like his (ex)missus was going to dob him in for receiving cash via an umbrella company so he shits himself and though if he spent it all he wouldn't have a case to answer

Yeah, because Johnny already had the umbrella payments made to him, as he had it set up from previous work.
I asked him, as he was trying to get himself up here to work on rig refurbs, I told him he'd need a ltd. company set up, or if he was dodgy, umbrella would get him through the first couple of weeks.
