When the pound initially fell it was a headline story, now we have a rebound, its just a small update in the live feed
"FTSE 250 rebounds
Posted at
09 9
We told you earlier that the FTSE 100 had opened slightly up this morning. Well, there's some good news too for the battered FTSE 250 as well, which is 3.2% higher. The biggest riser is Marshalls, up 12.7%, with G4S up 10.6% and Redrow 9.4% higher. The FTSE 250 is made up of a broader range of companies than the largely multi-nationals which make up the FTSE 100 stocks."

So who reckons Article 50 will never get invoked because no one will have the bollocks to commit political suicide to actually invoke it?

Not a 'Brexit' supporter myself but surely we have to follow through with it regardless of who takes the reigns at Downing Street.
If they didn't it would be a failure in democracy and can you imagine areas like Clacton; there would be a civil war.
The Britain First football shirt clan would be out in force shouting and abusing immigrants. The immigrants, of course, would be speaking better English during the calamity.
There was a chap on the news last night with England tattooed on his neck and also a swastika on his arm

Let me guess. Was the phrase "ordinary working people" used at some point?

Yes and 'little people'...
He also accused all of the other EU MEP's of never having had proper jobs in their lives.. A bit rich from an ex-banker.

We aren't/weren't allowed our own trade agreements with other countries whilst part of the EU, we were hamstrung by what the EU allowed, all 28 countries had to agree also before any new agreements could be made/changed.
Surely the advantages of being outside these restrictions are obvious, India, Canada and Australia have already stated their intentions to discuss a free trade agreement with us

We weren't allowed to setup 'alternate trading unions' but we are welcome to do what we like at an individual country level.

I find a lot of the people on facebook that are moaning don't have proper jobs. Its media student type jobs, no one would miss them if they weren't there, not going to effect the world.

The best are the protests about leaving the EU by moving to another country that isn't in the EU

Our trade deals with the rest of the world were negotiated by the EU. We can do that ourselves now, but we'll simply be negotiating our own deals from a weaker position.

Trade deals are done by large companies, the agreements are just to maximise their profits, i would rather increased tariffs and they pass that on to the customer, no free movement, no compromise.
Actually looked at my driving license and felt angered about it having an EU flag on it, i want a new one now with English flag.
