That is a really nice colour Nic. Not keen on the wheels, but great apart from that.

Sounds odd but they actually look a lot better in real life. I will be changing them at some point to the optional extra 19s probably when it needs new tyres. I've seen a few that have had the wheels spaced out a few mm front and rear and that also looks a lot better.

Slightly better, was using blue roll from work and it was ripping trying to scrub the dark bits off. I think I'd get it a lot better with a proper rag/cloth. I do like the exhausts on them though.

Why are they so black already? Does it run a bit rich?

Trying to decide on pressed plates. I think it's too modern for that though so may just get some plain dealer delete plates made up instead.

I think pressed pates would look tidy. Got them on my vRS.

Yeah I like pressed plates, especially in French font. It's a very subtle difference.

I'd just get regular font and have them in those plastic surround things like I had on my van

Please God, no. Surrounds are awful. It's just clutter.

You've removed the advertising sticker which is a good thing and then plan on adding crap surround with silly words on.

Don't do the surround. To busy looking and I couldn't wait to get mine off. A set of nice clean plain plates is better.

Autosol for the tailpipes.

Yeah it is autosol that I bought and had a go with. If I get chance tomorrow I will give it a wash and try clean them again.

Where the plate sits on the back of the mk7 I don't think it would fit with a surround anyway. Will try it with pressed plates though as it will complete the dealership delete look.

Looking at black vw badges but I know when people do it to audis I think it looks worse than standard so unsure. Plus I'd need to wrap some of the chrome bits on the front end.

Now I don't mind the std wheels, although a lot of people on here were quick to send abuse my way about them.

Found this spoke delete mod on the internet which I think actually looks pretty good. It's definitely something I might have a go with. Only issue would be pressure washing the wheels I guess.

They look miles better like that. I've always hated the look of the wheels on these but that's worth doing.

Not a fan of pressed plates personally but most people like them so you should get plenty of Internet points. No idea why somebody would mention French font though
