Well battery has died so got a new one today, think where it got ran down with my problems with the alternator and never charged back properly managed to kill it

So wacked a new one of those in today!

Bit of bad news - and stupid. When we were at the meet i placed the L piece on with no bolts and forgot to remove it when we went home so basically where I forgot about it it managed to jump from being a spark plug cover to being a heatshield for the manifold

So need a new one of those now!

It managed to melt right round the manifold was a bitch to get off but done that now so time to get another L piece! These things hate me

Oh and also fitted the vaccuum pipe Kieran sent me from the rocker to the throttle body. Cheers Mate

Did you not notice the smell?

You said about battery charge, Driving it would have charged it so its just been killed due to over/under charging previously.

Your drive to/from MK would have charged that battery perfectly.
