How do you know if I don't know the rules, they were nearly touching the corner before so he should have let him Through, Hamilton is aggressive he knew his tyres wernt very good because he was sliding everywhere

It was obvious what was going to happen IMO. Rules or no rules. They were always going to touch. Should've given it up and made sure of the points. Any points are better than no points. Maldonado will get bummed now though.

Think Maldonado was at fault for going off track then back in to the side of him but Hamilton should of just let him go and settled for 4th, like everyone has said he wasn't going to be able to hold him off with those tyres

What we need to bear in mind is that hamilton had just braked from 200mph. His adrenalin wouldve been sky high, as aaron said.

Indeed, you never want to give up a podium either, especially when 1 lap earlier you was 2nd. Hindsight a great thing. I'm glad he raced for it and didn't just give it up, its what makes him so exciting to watch.

What would be the point in racing if you're just going to let the person behind you go past. Maldonado was off the track, he could clearly see how close and where Hamilton was.

Hold him off for the rest of the laps though
