The Martian - 8.5/10 - Never read the book but overall a decent watch, although it does drag a little towards the end. Well worth seeing though.

Unbroken - 7/10

WWII POW film about an American athlete who was about to represent his country in the Olympics before the war. After their plane crashes in the sea they are eventually "rescued" by a ship which happens to be the Japanese and are put in a POW camp.

Just started reading the book on the back of the film..... Probably the wrong way round!!!!!!

The great thing about the film is, it's 2hrs 15 minutes and felt like it flew by...... Didn't drag at all? Some well placed humour throughout and coupled with some questionable music which really made the film! Abba on a sci if movies shouldn't work but it does! On top of all that it was a well written and thoughtout the film is very close to the book (from what I've read).

Requiem for a dream is epic, need to watch that again soon.

Locke 5/10 Okay but not amazing. Only watched it because of the 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. Nice idea that was executed quite well just felt a little weak to me.

BBQ - 9/10 hysterical black comedy. I advise people to find this and watch it. very rare to find but to worth it

also Superfast 7/10 up there with scary movie

Not the best from Jason and felt a bit like a mid 90's action film. Enjoyable enough.
