my bruva has a a3 with amd chip and miltek zorst and is runnin 200bhp!

or get an ibiza cupra R 1.8t they are fukin rapid when tuned and wwhen not

if the a3's traction control is anything like the a4's then its totally gash, it does nothing in a straight line. dads a4 struggle for straight line grip in the wet if u give it some.

A3 traction doesnt exist, if Wayne_hiscock thinks it does then he didnt have a chip or was driving like a poof. As for the original post, stick with a VAG lump, nothing wrong with their diesels. Id opt for a slightly older A3 1.9tdi and pop in to AmD with some money.

right, defo getting the 1.9 tdi, there is a guy on one of the vw forums that has a 202 bhp 1.9 tdi based on the 90 bhp version, jesus that things quick, its in a mk2 golf and got timed 0-60 in 5.7 seconds and a 14.2 quarter miles. hmm imagine that beast
