dude, if your old man can do it for 1200...that is the CHEAPEST your gonna get it mate Infact, thats a fooking good price, and other comps (if they will insure) will ask about 2k+, probably more like 2.5k .
So stick with your old mans Just make sure everything is declared and i mean everything, just incase they get funny or sumthing

I was not dangerous I was always under control. That car was part of me. I knew how it would react. I do miss it you know
And it took lots of practice to get the roundabouts right

Yea but around £1200 was his estimate...
That is NOT in my name, He is the registed owner of the car and he would be the main driver .
inc. the 60% NCB

so he would be main driver, owner and you would be second?? if that is the case, then its fairly expensive I though it was 1200 for your own policy
No, keep looking around mate, you will be able to get it cheaper than 1200 for you to be second driver, i recon about 800 quid or so. Although your OWN insurance/policy will be fooking expensive

'Visibleman' So you think the driving age is not going to go up to 18?
Insurance companies would miss out a year of 17 year old kids trying to insure there first cars would'nt they

ut better in the long run, trust me, i've been lucky enough to have these 2 cars (worked fucking hard for them)
and if they were insured in my parents name, when i come to insure my Lotus calrton or somehing i'll be buggerd, as i will have no NCB
