No No No Eck - Classy
Scoobies are a bit common and are getting cheap so will soon have a Saxo VTR type name associated with them
They are classy cars but just abit old mannish for me, I'd much perfer a scooby, like your mates one now that is a stunning car

an E30 M3 would be class at the highest order, ok its not the best equipped compred to teh E36 but you would get so much more respect.
i seen one a few weeks ago and creamed my pants just sitting behind it

I'm thinking of getting one for around £13k maybe on a P-R plate. M3 Evo Converiable. Insurance is £1k so not too bad.
But for that money, i can buy a newer car
(Toyota Celica T sport)...cant decide yet..
Servicing is expensive though at BMW. Expect to pay around £1k.

servicing is expensive yes. But if your buying an old car, wouldnt bother takin it to beemer tbh. they only charge more cos they can, when u go to flog it on later say u keep it for a few years it wont be worth that much therefore you wont need a FBMWSH to sell it.
The E46 has had so many bloody facelifts that its really affected the E36 re-sale values and with everyone buying new cars these days i wouldnt loose n e sleep over it if i were you
Oh and your all basterds
I want one

Personally i'd have an Evo or a WRX over an M3 but thats just my opinion as to me most BMW drivers = Wankers, thats just the image they get from the majority
so true, so true lol

TBH i think they have had their day. yes they are nice, and yes they are quick, but they just seem to look like a kitted up e36 now. and every coc who drives a 318/316 does it up to look like an m3. powerful cars tho and loadsa toys, but i wouldnt justify spending the money on running the thing when you could have something better for the money

e36 m3's are old n dated now imo and don't look anything special compared to the new m3's, i'd go for a scoob sti.
