Even the policeman who stopped me said that he's well aware that everyone speeds. I dont consider 80 in a 70 to be a big crime, people always do more than 70 on motorways. I was doing 70mph in the 1st lane today and was getting overtaken numerous times.
However 70 or 80 in a 40 is rather idiotic. 40's are 40's usually because there are houses or schools etc near by. I was speeding on a single carriage road that had no houses or any pedestrian access, maybe why i only got a producer.
Im driving .... i have never gone above the speed limit

Dont think that was the point we were getting at, i know everyone speeds me included.
If you speed you know full well what might happen and you take that risk you cant come on a site like this asking how to get round it.
Certainly no problem with doing 80 on a duel carraigeway but a 40 limit is obviously there for a reson, no pavement maybe whether its 3am or 3pm

it shouldnt be a 40
there is pavements but there is grass between them and the road, there is no houses or schools

think you may be looking at a few morwe than 3points, if you can get a letter off your boss saying youll loose your job if you cant drive you may be able to keep you licence with say 6points.

yes it would work, a close friend of my family works for himself and needs to drive a horse lorry to get business, pro show jumper, and he got done for dangerous driving, ad 9points already he then got a load more and would have lost his lisence but my mums work collegue(sp) (a lawyer type boffin) said that he needed his lisence for his job etc....he still got the points and fine but kept his lisence. just chat to your baoss mate see what he says!

As you werent given a fixed penalty at the time, something to do with you not stopping they may well send you a summons in the post which will prolly mean a court appearance for failing to stop.
