Well, this was an entertaining read, but Paul has got it exactly right, you're a Rap star who most people @ Reading or Leeds will not like, mainly because id imagine they think he's a talentless cock, but still.
Like he said, its like Green Day doing a Rap Festival, and i'm pretty sure he knew what sort of reception he was gonna get.
Wish i went to Leeds this year, know a few people who did (Who don't have black hair like some twats think) (and work in normal jobs...)
And they loved it.
Wish i had money

I think you forget that every type of music comes from another type of music.
Somewhere rock will infulence rap/hip hop or vice versa.
And since when has a festival been for only rock music lovers only?!

Reading Festival is known for being more rock/punk orientated...
Unlike things like V-Festival, or Glasto which cater for all...

I've just looked at the official poster for the reading event. No mention that it's a rock only festival, or rock music lovers only should go.
If we are going to get picky about it.... Supergrass, Von Bondies, The Ordinary Boys, Ash, Morrisey, Graham Coxon, Franz Ferdinand are classed as Indie/Alternative. Dizzie Rascal isn't rock and The Streets are garage.
Eminem played at this festival in 2001, no one kicked up a fuss then.
IMO it is arrogant british tossers spoiling it for everyone else as usual, like they do when watching footie.

I don't see where I stopped anyone listening to 50 cent... So I don't see the relevance in answering the question.

You did if he walked off set whilst you were one of the tossers chucking bottles at him. He did right, I wouldn't blame him if he didn't come over here again. Who would blame him.

thats ok then
im just trying to make a point that these festivals have all different types of music at them, people who like rock seem to think they are just for them
if I had have gone, it would have been to see 50 cent not any of the others...

but I didn't chuck any bottles, so I don't see why people are stressing at me about making people miss a Wanksta (fiddy's words not mine).
I'm sure he's not gonna cry about it, he most likely got paid - just to do about 2 songs and walk off stage, so you think he's gonna be upset about that? He'll just stick to doing proper gigs.
At the end of the day, the people who should be upset about being boo'd isn't 50 cent at all. It's people like Good Charlotte Last year and Rasmus this year! These people are getting boo'd and bottled by their supposed 'Target Audience!'
To be treated like shit, by the people you actually want liking you is going to hurt a lot more than being treated by shit, by people you couldn't care less about and most of which probably wouldn't buy your music anyway?!

Yes but to pay over £100 for a ticket just to see 50 cent would be a bit silly I doubt anyone bought a ticket JUST to see 50 cent and no one else, thus I think most people were there for the majority of bands and thus not upset when we didn't have to stand up for another hour watching 50 cent, and got the final act a bit sooner.
