Nice car, nice feature!!
How can it be standard to standard when Vauxhall never made a V6 turbo

First off all i only said i'm under the impression and have no technical knowledge on the subject but...
I'm sure i've heard the turbo off saabs v6 turbo engine bolts directly onto the vauxhall v6 engine (standard for standard). have definately heard of this just dont know if its true...

Apparently Saab did as the V6 is a shared powerplant.

Luke his nitrous is all wired in and whatnot. Its also direct port. Think all in all the nitrous adds 150bhp.
I was around there last night and we were installing a nitrous kit onto mine...so he is more than capable of doing so himself.

Congratulations on the feature beardy I am suprised they gave it front cover to be fair due it being black,I had a right nightmare getting mine featured because it was black. Anyhow they did and the pics look cool!
I would be very interested to see some pics of the Nos fitted to the engine, and what you think to it? I think a lot of the comments about the V6 are right and it will be a nightmare to fit and it wont give that much extra BHP as its not the best turbo in the world anyhow. With the right amount of time and money I am sure you will get there though mate

the vauxhall v6 and the saab v6 are pretty much the same engine, the turbo will bolt straight onto beardys engine, however it will only be able to be run as a low pressure turbo, which iirc is what beardy is going to run it as, if you want to wind the boost up, thats when you start looking at internals and engine management..

Who cares what Revs said about it. I've not read the feature but i'm sure none of what they said about the turbo and bhp came from Beardy's mouth.
Plus look whose doing the slating in this thread..................... need i say more

Beardy's engine is a GM V6, it was not designed by Vauxhall it was designed by GM. You see rover engines in many other cars that aren't rover, you see VW engines in cars that aren't VW e.t.c... In fact, Chevrolet used the GM 2.0 8v engine with a turbo attatched on one of thier cars in the US a few years ago.
