Yes I know and his ICR has more power and weighs less

[Edited on 13-10-2004 by Robbo]

ICR also a lot more torque, however this reminds me of the VTEC arguement thread that was going on recently. The CTR doesnt need huge amounts of torque because of the gearing/revs?!? I kind of got lost in the bullsh1t amongst that thread. But its 0-100 time is pretty impressive so i guess there is some founding behind it.
Indeed but I wud hav thoiught that a higher powered lighter turbo'd car would just have the CTR, wish I had mine still Mark I would have gladly come to Norwich and tested this

Wasnt your best 1/4 mile nearly 17 secs???

I would have thought that a VTS/GTI would be alot quicker than that

You would need to TUNE an XE in a corsa to have a VTS, they run similar standing quaters 0-100 etc

standard VTS's run 15-15.5 seconds standing quaters.... I cant see your standard XE being much quicker tbh, I suspect you may have caught one off guard

vts is 125bhp at about 845kgs

ud need about 140 in a corsa i reckon to compensate for the weight

i got 138bhp and can just slowly pull away till about 70ish then i pull away alot better
