Without farmers etc life would be difficult, you couldnt just walk into Tesco for your weekly shopping for a start! Fox hunting is a good thing to help pest control and have some fun at the same time.

Yes most fox hunters are normal run of the mill people and not stuck up at all, the stuck up people are those against it....they really should be put to work on a farm for a few weeks to see what goes on outside there office!

Im really puzzuled for one, people say it is a good way of keeping the fox population down, but then you go onto saying how you hardley catch any foxs on a hunt. Therefor controdicting yourself.
It is a poor excuse for a savage and bloody sport if you can call it that.
Just my opinion tho.

I think now hunting with hounds is banned, let's return to the version that's more fun......hunting foxes with chicken-wire traps, leaving them dying of bloodloss for hours, while watching them squirming in agony and not shooting them to put them out of their misery!
Absolute superb fun, who's up for it! Foxes aren't human, we are, they are below us in the food-chain so it doesn't matter!

Interesting read and I agree with Vibrio on this. For all you tradition lovers out there how about we go back to doing our washing by bashing it with rocks in a stream, or how about you lads get back to doing traditional manual labour like working in mills etc. This tradition argument is bullshit. We have all progressed from there. Fox hunting is barbaric and inhumane.
There are better ways to kill pests than hunting them down and ripping them apart.

How about just shooting them if they become a nuisance?
How about trapping them and then shooting them?
I refuse to believe that getting tarted up and riding through the country with a pack of dogs is the best way to do it.

right firstly read the thread properly and u might notice that all your creative suggestions are shallow minded, one sided and shite luv, firstly shooty is inhumane as a clean headshot is 90% impossible therefor leaving the animal possibly injured, and high powered rifles would have to be used as more acurate than shot guns then that poses a risk for others from the bullet! trapping is not only illegal but is impossible because if u trapped a hole what sais a rabiit or badger ,ite go on it and die!!!
when a hound kills a fox it rips it jugular vein and breaks its neck within 3 seconds THATS THE FACT!
tarted up.... u dont know what your blabbering on about... 6 out of the 100 om my hunt where a traditional dress the rest are ordanary run of the mill ppl !
your entitled to your opinion, but please first have some knowledge on the subject!!!
