Look great painz i have the same prob u had, i got ET45 alloys on my 1.8sri & was thinking of changing them for some ET40 but that brake kit looks great even though its twice as much as new alloys would cost.

One thing I don't understand is why people say you don't need brakes like that on a 125bhp car... You can never stop fast enough!

I agree, you can never spend enough money on brakes. Whether yuo have 300bhp or 50bhp, you can still tram along at 100mph, and need to stop fast!

True, Better brakes less chance of hitting the car in front when they slam on.

remeber reading about a track day in an mag and this zetec-s was running superb lap time and all it ahd was minor mods yet huge brakes. shows u that they do help and are defo worthwhile. brakes are the only things thats gona stop u from crashing in some cases so well worth the money.

True but £1250+ VAT is way to excessive.

You can get cheaper big brake kits...

My adapeted AP cossie 4 pots were 675 all in with 300mm discs. Spot on for a set of 16's!

I cannot reccomend them enough, plus Martin is a top bloke with top customer service, he took mine to TOTB for me to pick up!

ill have a good look at them tommorow when i see pete, see how much better than my mega cheap V6 breaks are..

do they do a corsa b kit, im getting tempted on 'proper' breaks now...

You can get a Brembo kit for a B - you can get loads of big brakes for a B. The Reyland ones are probably the best though - they use modified AP Racing calipers, which are probably about as good as you can get when talking 4 pot.

I had 2.0 turbo brakes on mine before the Reyland 4 pots, and there is a HUGE difference. I properly cooked them a few times under severe braking, but the 4 pots just love it!

reyland brakes are modified AP Racing calipers, as are Hi Spec calipers,

Brembo own AP Racing,
