 at spec sheet, mint, nearly 280 bhp in an astra is very respectable
whats the traction like in it though?

lot of money for the age but one is have sorted the few bodywork things will be imiculate!
wot i wud love wud be to go to total vaux and get double feature on both cars! i think i have got a car for all readers, one suttle with big power and one wild bodymods and ice! i think wud make good feature, showing both sides of modyfing cars!
says if i got red injectors could take boost up2 20-22psi! then wud be getting 300bhp! engine internals will take loads more stick if i wanted, should be fast how it is tho!
traction was a little scary when he took us out in it, was greesy on the roads, was spinning easly!
wot u guys think of lsd??? is it worth getting? even tho car is everyday car? dont wanna make it undrivable!

needs an lsd, thats good spec for that power, i shall be on same power but with less internals!
yeh diff will make it much better

looking at £430 off steveboyslim on mig,
then fitting for lsd,
if u wanted 300bhp id say ditch the phase 2 chips and get the 3.5, can be dodgy sometimes but much better map for higher boost,simply putting red in wouldnt be enough, and would start to cause trouble,
phase 2 is a very good map though!id leave it as it is for now
wouldnt wanna run anymore that 17psi through the standard kkk16 either,
will last a while but not to long on 22psi

Im putting a let in mine after the show season, with phase 2, and a kkk hybrid turbo, bottom end rebuild!
Il hand the engine ot shinee and let him sort it all, hoping for about 280 bhp, also custom pace intercooler as mate is high up there!
Shall be fun, if i could find a mint mk3 gsi astra id just buy that instead!
You got a steal there mate

thats gonna be class mate!
onlt drove the astra round the yard a little on the farm but seems nice to drive! feels more to the car then me corsa really! more solid, is a bigger car tho, brakes seem good, got 4 willwood 4 pots! got little tiny dents taken out this morning, looks betta now!

yea! wanted summit fast since i went in and drove corsa kev turbo c!
i cant wait to have the big grin on my face, smiling just thinking about it now, gf was not to happy wiht me getting it cos of how fast it is, she came out in the test drive and was quite shocked how fast it got up to in short space of time, made he happy tho cos she is having the head unit out of it! hehe

Don't get an LSD if your wanting help putting the power down. Learn to drive it properly.
LSD is only going to aid handling, and you can power through a corner and it will "pull" you through, rather than understeer.
An LSD is NOT a magical soloution to no traction in a straight line.
