If you have a save from GT3 you can import 100,000 credits bought my CTR brand spank

yeh I saw this... Thought it might be a bit like cheating doing that though ... Can you have multiple saves with this? i.e. I start one career... but decide to make another so I can do different on the same memory card? GT3 only let you have 1 game going which sucked...

might import that save and start again.

Even with 234 bhp my real life 106 gti gets to 60 quicker, than this one Plus it doesn't understeer like this one ... doh...

Should of spent those 100,000 creds on something decent and RWD

no joke adam - just took it on the 1/4 mile in this game... I'm running about 260 bhp now and (ok with TCS on level 6) my 1/4 mile time was 15.5

Im not sure If I ordered this game or not

Im sure I paid for it on LX direct & was told it would be dispatched once it was in stock

I might buy it & if I get one from LX, return the new copy to the store

yes but only to match the real one...

The problem is the lack of grip this game believes there is... hence on 1/4 mile and 0-60 tests I'm not going very fast as either I spin up the wheels, or (if TCS is on) TCS slows my acceleration.

But oh well It's all fun. P.S. This 106 gti is a lot faster than mine when it gets past 60 haha 900 kg and 260 bhp ... Pretty good power to weight ratio.

Just did a 8 min 37 lap round the nurburgring in the pug... First time I've tried it - pretty cool with the bumps! Nearly lost it when I hit a bump doing about 130 mph.

no just on nurburg they've put in the real life bumps on the track there are...

I've got a vid on my PC somewhere of footage of GT4 next to footage of a real car going round nurburg and its pretty clever how close they got it to look.

ah! Found out why the car was understeering so much!!! Bloody Drivers Aids! Went into Car settings, and found these things saying 'Oversteer TCS' (which kicks in to stop you oversteering) ... I turned this to 0 earlier... but also turned understeer to 0...

the result was, whenever I tried throwing my car into a corner TCS slammed on and locked up the brakes! only realised this when I gave B Spec mode a go and the computer was going off track every single corner!!! now handles much better

This B Spec mode is pretty funky... It learns to drive... (in manual it says)

By letting B spec race on different tracks with different cars it slowly gains more driving experience.

But just for example putting it on 1 track you watch it go round and round getting a bit quicker each time till it slips up

Then I jump in A Spec mode and try to beat its time
