doesn't mean its boring just because loads of people have it! its still the same, and to the person it doesn't matter because they're the one who drives it every day.

i disagree with xe'd corsa's bein common no more common than ppl doin swops on peugeot/saxo sites, ur just being fooled by coming on here and seeing them, ppl on here run the length of the country, i only no of 1 close to me thats joffs and in 1 yr ive never ran into him while out so

anyways good work mark nice to see, and id like to come out with u and see straight line speed once and for all dude, as jr said it'd be far superior to xe yeh maybe but ud need to be running high 13's low 14's ova 1/4 to be far superior, its 8500k limit that i like

fuckin hell, cant i havean opinion without getting sarcastic comments back anymore?

all i was saying was

they are getting more common, i didnt say that was a bad thing, although IMO its not the way to do it, but everyone is entitled to do what they want, i like my car stripped, some dont, i like the idea of having an engine which doesnt piss oil out everywhere, some dont, i dont like the idea of a big heavy block and 17 year old technology in a car i use every day, some people do

OK?

not all xe's are 17 yrs old and c16xe and early x16xe's are gettin on over ten yrs now robs urs is pushing seven now

yeah, but the technology is more advanced, and all the inherent c20 problems like random oil leaks and silly porous heads have been sorted out on the C16/X14/X16 engines

and they weigh less and were intended for the car in the first place

Thats no problem Rob, maybe you should voice your full opinion in the first reply instead of telling us one part and then later on in the thread explain the rest

Justify your opinion, thats all. Which you have done.

Surely a C16/X14/X16 would piss out oil if it had been round the same duration as said 20XE thats pissing out oil?

Porous heads on the other hand...

And yeah putting the 20xe into the Corsa is abit like making a pigeon and a rat have babies.
