Because they are bloody good cars and brilliant for the money. I don't mind driving cars that are common to be honest, long as it's something decent Set of after market wheels and it already looks different from the norm. The S3 is a nice car but no fun to drive whatsoever as with all Audi's (bar maybe an RS etc!)

No fun to drive but is quicker than an GSI & CTR. Also handles better than both & comes with alot of toys to !

astra more tunable STFU more tunable for less money maybe,, but im afraid the civics are miles ahead for tunability never heard of a new shape astra runnings 12s yet,,,and if it did im sure it would go bang rather quickly

1. S3
2. Astra
3. LCR
4. Milkfloat
5. JCB
6. Lorry
7. Robin Reliant
8. CTR

Ok maybe a little different to the above but the S3 would still get my vote.

Na TBH sons, turn the boost up ... 12's? You sayin a NA civic can do 12s? if not then trun the boost up on the GSI and run some nos through, i can't see a CTR doin 12's without turbo or NOS... then its in the same league as the astra and will also go boom...amigo

GSi's and the other one () are around £12k, a similar year S3 is £17k. i'd rather buy the astra, spent £4k on it, hump the S3, then spend the other £1k on beer, hoes and...summin else. probably petrol

Your better of holding on to the grand to pay for repairs & MOT failures.
