Or actually get the Coupe Turbo -- you can still get the sexy alcantara (though not 100% sure it's available in blue)...

Why does everyone make such a fuss about the alcantara? I searched high and low until I found a perfect coupe with the cream leather. There were loads of alcantara interiors around but they didn't do anything for me!

I wanted cream leather but couldn't find a decent one. Then I actually saw the Alcantara and thought it looked really funky, plus I figured it would be easier to keep clean than cream everything (including carpet)

Just make sure you're happy with the slower model -- my g/f convinced me to get the turbo as she thought I'd get pissed off with a 1.8/2.2 after a while.

At least now I can't say "I wish I got the turbo"...

Whatever you get though I can definitely say I got a lot of car for £6.5k

I do like the Alcantara but I chose the cream leather in the end Does get pretty cold in the morning but then I just switch the heated seats on

How many miles has yours got? General condition?

There are a few Turbos on there for 6k but have over 50k miles which I don't really want.

40k is my limit

you'll get back in nova after driving the coupe and it'll feel like sitting in a wheelbarrow, and the gearstick always feels weird

PMSL

Yes I know, this is why I don't want a Turbo as it will be faster and more refined and driving the Nova will be like you say driving a wheel barrow

At least if I have a slower Astra driving the Nova will be more fun because it will be so much faster.

General condition is great really except the drivers seat could do with a bit of a clean

It had 41k when I picked it up. I bought it from an independent dealer so it was also fully serviced, and had the turbo seals replaced just before I bought it...

By the way Arnie -- shouldn't cream leather have cream carpets and a gold colours dash board around the heaters?

I think they do on the older models. If you look at Ian's he's got cream seatbelts where as mine are black. So the colours must differ depending on what year it is.

Cream seats come with black dials and black seats have white dials. I think all have the chrome rings as well.

Well ideally after a red or silver Coupe, no dark colours.
