I beat him off the line too. To be fair though it was his first time up the strip and his wasn't stripped at all.

If the rallye is standard thats not bad at all considering its a 1.4. Just wondering how the power of a gti would match up against the weight of a rallye, im quite impressed.

I had fallen asleep - was dreaming of a magical land with warm weather, sandy beaches and babes in bikini's ... Then heard 'knock knock knock' on the window... woke up and looked and there were these lips on my window

Then I was like who's this OJC? and it was you must've been the pink t-shirt you were wearing... OJC would've loved it today.

Mine are VTS rims

That white rallye I raced is off PGAC, guy called bluebadger he's not had it long - but claims it's a bit faster than standard. It's pretty nippy to be honest, it followed me up. But imo the idea of rallye's is to be stripped and bare!

When my Gti was standard I had a s2 rallye (ok with a pugsport exhaust and possibly some other stuff) completely stripped pulling away from me... Couldn't believe it

Are Rallye S2's same engine as gti's? I know there 1.6. Maybe if yours was stripped it would be the same. I hate to see rallyes with fat 18s or bodykits, there always on ebay. Love them as standard but I reckon if i had one id strip it totally bare and get the best out of it as it was intended.

Fastest time Ollie was a 15.57 with all the ICE in which wasn't too bad. Most runs I couldn't get grip & just span whilst sliding sideways across the track

They did a ten second run right at the end of the day.

They had problems with launch control.
