just goes to show how the design of the inlet can make so much difference!

tourqe is now 115.7 ft/lb

Thats good for a 1.6, you had a play with any 2ltr XE corsa yet??? I imagine that they would be pretty equal with the 2ltr starting to pull away higher up the rev range due to it having better torque

yes, can definitly feel it at 5k. its also so much louder than the old setup, probably because the tb's are now pointing straight towards your face rather than the bulkhead. Aparently the cams are standard, although the figures im getting with the tb's and also when i had my mantzel are very good. all i know about them is that they were from a 1999 corsa sport that was superchipped and had filter and exhaust, and a few people that knew the lad that had the car said it was always quick for what it was, so i might measure them and see.

i just bought the engine and re-built it when he swapped it for a 2 litre.

if they are different then they will have kent or what ever stamped on the shaft.... and one end, cant remember which has the cam type on it..... i.e. cor####

on the first run down to the roundabout, i wasnt even trying (thats why the ratios seem long) there were other cars around. out of the roundabout it was easy to pull past about 3 car lenghths up to 80mph then the 2 litre pulls back.
