This is sooooo stressing me out. What do you guys who owe so much money and going to have no mooney for yourself.

What did I do? Left my car at home, and got a job. Amount of money going out goes down, amount coming in goes up.

since you do a degree you should be able to get your head around this concept.
Earn more than you spend. That either means work more hours or spend less but in reality probably means both combined.

Things like this really annoy me, people say how they have no money but if you literally had no money you wouldnt be going away for weekends or going anywhere that cost you money. If you only went to work and college you would save much more money, dont use your mobile unless you really really need to and cut out all luxuries.
There are loads of ways round getting yourself out of debt but its all how you manage it.
And agreed with everyone else, just wait till you move out of your parents home, you'll have a massive shock then.

I owe loads by setting my self a target of 9 months to become debt free and have a house. Least house is investment and not like cars pure money pit with no return

Most folk go through the same motions really, its only when you become older & wiser you learn the true value of money & laugh/cry about how you used to flutter it away on ripped jeans, going out & corsa combat kits

If the car is making you skint all the time & you dont have the money to run/maintain it never mind petrol is it really worth keeping it???

i used to have a good bit more than that before i was 17, bought my car for 1k on my birthday off my mum, then it went downhill if i didnt have a car, or had a shitty standard car i would probably have at least 10k saved. cars cost lots of money

U wouldnt be paying for insurance, mot, road tax, repairs etc
Declare it sorn keep it in a garage and use the train till u can afford to run it a bit better. Simple really

Ins month £26
Tax/MOT - 20
tyres / repairs - 20
Total : £186/month (thats going easy on ins & repairs, probably much more!!)
Train per month:
Ticket £35
Total : £140/month

£35 a week
insurance for my car £26 a month
rd tax i paid in full £110
door needs fixing but not gettin it fix till summer, £100, dont have spare tyre
