fiestakidda (Oh the irony in that name!)
You say "It's only a game" and yes technically it is, but if you were a passionate about football as most people seem to be in this section you'd know that that particular saying is probably the most annoying and condesending thing you can say to a clubs fan when they lose - honestly there is nothing more irritating that people that say that as it shows that they don't fully understand the emotions involved in a game, especially one of this magnitude!
imo of course

Well France went on to score a third so the 2nd goal could possibly be deemed not that important.

Rooney for me is the one to blame more than ronaldo. He let us down, he blew his chance and the countries chance.
And why is no one blaming Carragher, Lampard and Gerrard for missing the penalties. People forget we still could have won if they could have scored from 6 yards
ronney got sent off! He stamped on his balls FFS, i would be pissed if an opposing player did that to someone in my team. He should never have pushed Ronaldo either. ALL his own doing.
England underachieved, best players they have had in a while and underachieved badly.
England are very bad loosers IMHO
Commentators last night definetaly had there england tinted galsses on. England are out, talk abotu the teams playing not the fact carvalioh (sp) was at the centre of rooneys decent etc
rant over
and i know scotland are not in the world cup
again
Pathetic !!!

Oh FFS you are all a bunch of fags.
Why does football always boil down to who: watches most games, goes to home and away, supported their team for longer, has all the shirts.......

Because as most conversations on here if your opinion doesn't match the rest then you are slated and be littled and told you know nothing at all.
I was merely stating Ronaldo did what any footballer does in 2006. I'm not saying he was right to do it but it is something i expect from footballers now

Good god, Mike corsa does a U-turn at last
Fairplay for seeing sense matey
its all opinions, thats all.... no one on here is right or wrong.
Nope, im afraid that's short sighted...opinions are opinions, yes. But opinions are founded on the facts we see.
and it was going so well for Mike for a few minutes there!!
i didnt make a bad comment or whatever you want to call it. we all have our own opinions on a game/team or player. even though im a united fan i admitted ronadlo was wrong and i certainly wont defend him in banter with rival fans down the pub in future etc.

conning the ref into sending a player off is cheating in my book. as its then an advantage to his team being a man up.

fiestakidda just dont bother honestly. even if your comment was justified it wouldnt get credit on here unless you agree with the fab 4 ...... Nath, Cosmo, Jules and maybe Sooty/Jizinho Silva (Jizinho Silva does talk sense though and rarely puts people down , unlike some)
and to prove my point.... watch the abuse that comes my way now.... even though i have offended nobody
