i'm trying to get some 7x13" Revolutions, the 5 spoke ones, but they are rare as fook
and the clear lights i've got the original ones (with Leyland rosette ) BUT, the screws are rounded off and i'm gonna have to take a Black & Decker to the clears to get them off

I'd take a hammer and a good run up to the clears to get those fuckers off as swiftly and destructively as possible mate.

Ahh, you mean Revolution RFXs. They are lovely rims and well suited to Minis.
There's a set on Les Beerling's RS500 in JR's thread about this month's RSOC meet.

rear subframes rot out big style on this age of mini there only £90 to replace if its fooked
used to own a 1275 gt clubman a few years ago what i stripped and rebuilt alas i have no pics

cheers Flash
I'll inspect it fully tomorrow
apparently the front floors rot like buggery too
just did an engine number check, and its a genuine metro turbo lump, not just an MPI engine (not that it matters, the compression ratio is the same)

looks tidy enuff the mg turbo lump is fairly strong as long as you dont fiddle with in a look after them the needels and jets can wear quickly that the only down side. carb rebuilt kits are cheap as chips tho
many moons ago i nearly bought a genuine era turbo with walnut leather the lot ah those were the good old days

i've got 10 assorted needles for it i knew they were sometimes a problem, so i bought some in in advance
ERA's are cool, but a fair wedge these days

They were an even fairer wedge when new Robin.
I remember seeing a brand new metalic green one in one of my local Rover dealers and it was nearly three times the price of the standard Min next to it.
Genuine original Austin Rover Mini convertibles were horrible money new aswell mate.
I think you should deffo go for sportpack rims if you can't get RFXs Rob.

I know the vtec lumps go in nicely plus you have the reliability. We had a T plate one for sale at my work and i was desperate to buy it, was
even thinking of part exchanging the rs for it. Minis rock

Hiow many times the vtrec lump is a fuckign nightmare to get right in a mini
yes its fits, but you have to run 14's and 15's to get the gearing right, which is a nightmare
