Dave, firstly sorry, re-read that reply, seemed really shitty, bad moment at work....

Its jsut i've had to say it so many times its a joke.

At the end of the day, its a figure, which doesn't really mean anything. True, it could "possibly" be a lower output, or, it could even be higher, who knows, the engine was sold to SBD anyway who as far as we're aware took it to 256bhp....

But, it was nearly as quick as my 2.0, even with all the stuff in/on it.

OJC, similar spec yes. Wouldn't do anything like the times Lee's did, but then again, put her engine in a shell like Lee's was with no interior, 15"s etc, and im VERY confident it would have done similar times.

As i say, RR are for pub talk people anyway. It went bloody well, and thats all that mattered, till it blew up, again....

Now its got a different engine so its all irrelivant anyway. And thats even quicker..

Yes.

Dave Wilkes (C5RSA) had a tuned X14XE as well, he had big wheels and a kit on his car as well and that was as fast as my standard Corsa GSi.

Think he had the Lexmaul and a few other bits and bobs.

Its the standard 1.8 sri engine with a "few" add ons. Only 2 in the uk like it at the mo.
