£1800 for TB's in a box from Alpha. That only gives you a rough base map too. You will need to get that re-mapped for best results.

id like to add to my original cheap price thing (awaiting cupra steves slagging off)

i am assuming that the car already has better suspension and brakes.

if you are going to swap engines get the newest, cleanest shell you can.

I think they have an extra plate welded on the b-pillers as to stop them cracking where the groove thingy is. Mine is the stronger shell but my mate has a 1.4 on i think an R-plate and his is splitting.

Daz - Don't take my word as gospel but i would say yeah.

just a quick question if you are putting a valver why you need a 1.6, just get a newer shell. Make sure you get a header tank with 2 pipe things on it though the 8v don't

was just wondering saa ive seen w plate ones that have cracked, either corsa ive had, one n reg one L reg and both them are and have been fine. weird.

and you'll need to fit an MPi pump too if not MPi shell

origionally the shell weren't strengthened i think. not sure. i think i was told that some where called back to be made stronger. unsure though.
