i agree, but when there are designated areas about, like which the are generally are, i see no problem. I wouldn't go in a tap room and complain about the smoke. THe thing that bothers me most about cigs in pubs is when you are in a busy pub in a town or city and you are trying to walk through the crowd and some weak minded addict catches you with a cig or burns your clothes. 
Banning smoking in restaurants or pubs that serve food is enough for me, think there should be certain pubs where people can smoke most places apart from away from the bar area such as working mens pubs and local dives.

I agree with restaurants etc, but normal pubs i.e. pool table a few bandits and footy on tv, you expect smoke and i don't think it should be banned in these type of pubs.

It should be down to the owner of the pub.
If you know which pubs are smoking and which aren't you go to the non smoking ones, and the smokers go to the smoking pubs.
Much the same as you'd do with a gay bar.

good call really, then if a mate does smoke you can incorparate a smoking pub into the round, problem then though, if one pub is a smokers pub and that is an attraction, it would be like a giant hotbox! Reckon there still would need a designated area maybe a non smokers des area with a big window open though!

I can't wait to go to my local and not come back stinking with sore eyes. I'm also looking forward to the very day the ban comes in so I can laugh at them outside getting their nictone fix. They've banned it at my work and have built them a shelter outside, its funny as fuck watching them at 8am freezing their arse's off because they NEED their fag! Fuck that for a laugh.
