Hello all again, right...its all repaired again....finally got it in primer again....got a few pics here of the first coat of spot primer(just to see if there was any imperfections etc)




And here it is with a bumper on..bumper is been held up by 2 buckets so not perfect lol(ignore the chopped up bumper aswell.....work in progress for a different project lol)



So yeah....going to my mates booth 2moro 2 be properly primed and painted.

Should look shit hot.

i would be more worried at how rusty the lower panel is personally

hahaha lol yeah...car is just a shell tho.....its fucked....so i use it to do my bonnets and boots on etc. But yeah if i come to sort it out and fix it....i shall be sorting that crap out lol. Cheers

erm i dont have any actually but im sure once Iain M gets the bonnet he will....underneath...well looks like an underneath with bits welded on and selaed. Ill ask him to post them....hope he is happy with bonnet as its been in delivery courier over a week...few fuk ups. If out wrong ill sort it out n e way. Do not trust the postal service after a few accidents with things ive had delivered

when i did mine i made a return lip like the original edge of the bonnet ground down the weld penetrating thru and filled it inside and my painter mate sealed it. looks as good below as the top does. just always keen to see other bonnets undersides..

Well wot we did becuase the car its going on has a irmy grill was got the draw a straight line about a cm away from the edge of the steel...then we folded it over flush to the back for strength...welded it, flared it abit so it would fit over his grill...then we dollied it until the metal was spot on (no highs, or lows) then sealed the underneath where the 2 metals joined, and painted it. Looks mint i personally think...had to do a repair to abit of rust but acid8 the lot and then selaed that 2.

gd stuff, i hate the bonnet extensions u see with just the edge left, u could cut urself on.. much better with a return lip..

yeah....well only difference is where the metal meet i just sealed it....gives it strentgh aswell.....
