The 106 is a lot quicker than that to 60. Will hit low 7s easily and mid 15s on the 1/4.

106 GTis/ VTS's are reknowned for making more than the standard 120bhp on the rollers.

not to my knowledge, they had a s1 but never made a gti, s2 is gti.

306 they made an s16 pre facelift, then gti was facelift.

search google for pics.

All 106's look the same bar rubstrips and cloth seats on earlier versions. There is no 'facelift' as such, only minor changes.

Think leather and no rubstrips came in at S or T reg.

i think the 106 looks better than the 306 gti as the 306 gti looks just like any other 306 with wheels

At the end of the day its your choice mate. Several would go for the 106, but at the same time several would go for the 306.

I dont think 0-60 counts for much myself, its the 0-100 figure that shows the real performance of a car.

To be honest tho I dont really think the 106 is about that, its an all rounder - Def the 106GTI for me, even the 106 Rallye if you fancy summat a bit different!

the yellow one is lovely.

probably top whack for it, but looks stunning, and some good mods already. i really want some cyclones and see if there is any difference in handling between the 16's/15's.
