Usually - 30-45 minutes, door to door. Traffic permitting.
Currently sometimes over an hour due to poncy roadworks on the A2. Another 1.5 years left, joy...
NW Kent to Central London, 27 miles.
God bless motorcycles.
(train total would take about 2 hours).
that is fucking good to be fair.
Nothing in the world can match a motorbike for getting into london.. Well, actually, cars and pedestrians can when they appear out of no-where and send you down the road, that can kinda delay things
Thats relaxed riding as well. Record being nuttey was 31 minutes on the scoota (11pm at night, dead roads and kind traffic lights). Im sure it could be beaten, but im not going to try

takes me around an hour and a half
I get a bus to the underground station, then underground to the train station, then get a train.
I could just take the one bus, but it takes almost 2 hours and my ass gets numb sitting on the shitty seats for that long.

Yes the trains are also air conditioned (well the newer ones anyway) and have vinyl seats that you can reverse so you can sit down and look at either end of the carriage. They are my favourite trains in the world, them and the LU tube trains!

Sorry Jambo
I will admire it on my walk to the station.....
Would rather see that castle looking place in your pic though there's only so much looking at parliament you can take in two years!

My journey to work is approximately 9 mile each way and takes me at least 30 mins.
I work virtually next to Heathrow Airport.

MK central reminds me of some parallel world where things aren't always what they seem. Oh and it's never sunny. EVERY time I have gone there, at any time of year, it's always been grey and cloudy.
The same also applies to Slough, by the way.

MK is nice when it's sunny, everything is made from either concrete or glass. It certainly is a surreal town, there is no other like it.

40 minutes in the car going home minimum, normally at least an hour.
