Audi is by far the finer car, to sit in to look at. Everything about it, don't buy a BMW because it has the name. It means nothing nowadays.

^^

Not an A3, if I'm gonna change it has to be to a bigger an nicer car!

Test drovve the BM... awesoem car, handled amazingly, looked great. pulled almost as well as the Golf... loved it!

Stopped by Audi on the way back... was impressed by the A4... they had an S-Line or 2 about and they do look nice... the salesmen bloke I know wasnt there but i will call and book a test drive for next weekend!

Jimbo are you still at Audi

Col - £45 is a lot to spend per week just on petrol... its over £2k a year!!!

I will be interested to see if theres much diff!

Bare in mind as well Col that that £45 per week is reliant on me driving the Golf like a granny ie. stick to speed limits or 50mph whgere possible! If I give it some it'd be more like £45 every 4 days!

Audi S-line A3 or A4 is much better looking inside and out.

And I've driven a 320D (not an Msport) and thought it was pretty crap Old 320D though.

Personally if i was doing 80 miles a day and worried about mpg and getting dings all over it, i would be buying a shitter which i didn't care about and pile the miles on that instead...

then keep the GTI or buy a BMW, or something even more special and keep it as a weekend toy.

at the end of the day you drive to work and it sits outside for 8 hours, and no-one really gives a shit what it is lol
