Possible penner for Wigan and borderline offside... wasn't clear distance but I'd say 9/10 Flamini would have been flagged... oh well

1st was borderline as there was no clear daylight (still offside IMO) and 2nd one I think was just onside but must have been close as well... speed of play will have hindered lino i guess

IMO not a penner as minimal contact but id be pissed off if i were a wigan fan

1st goal was offisde no doubt.

Penna was a penna but it was soo soft. They said he had to go down but IMO would have been much easier to stay standing and finish it there and then

2nd goal was not offside because the ball went backwards which means you can't be offside.

1st technically wasnt off as there was no gap between the 2 players which is the revised law but its a joke and IMO hes offside!

Thats the bloody stupid commentators getting it wrong again. There does not need to be ANY gap between them. The law states you only need a part that can play the ball to be ahead and you are offside.

As for Rosicky being offside earlier, due to him not receiving the ball he was not offisde - as said the law is just too complicated now, hard to ref at the top of the game but even harder on your sunday league games

Pah, cant complain, it was 2-1.

Wigan got what they deserve as Heskey missed two good chances. Wish Wigan won or got a draw but just wasnt the case.

Jens deserved his booking though, knob head, and a keeper that gets 5 booking s a season...he doesnt deserve a new contract!

lol Lehman has shown to produce the good this year. H has shown the signs of a top quality keeper where you do nother for most of the match but then pull off a top draw save just when its needed
i.e. like todays onto the post, against manu twice in the last minutes of the second half. other games too.

He might act like a knob sometimes but there are not many other keepers i would have over him.
(probably only chec and given)

Just seen the goal again on Match of the Day 2 and Rosiky is definatly onside for the pass outwide and then its back was he was onside.

What was Henry doing getting involved with Kirkland like that. Petulant for a player of his quality imho

Ref was shit all game. Lehman is and always will be a complete cunt (good save from Heskey though.) Wigan should have had a pen. I think a draw would have been a fair result in the end.

Oh and what a goal
