well had the car on the rolling road today to get the car set up properly was a good day figures werent to bad ...

wheels - 116bhp @ 7095rpm
fly - 150.1bhp @ 6968rpm
torque - 117.9 @ 6162rpm

dont know what to get next really? exhaust manifold i guess then cams/head sorted should see some good gains with them done

heres a video but ignore the numbers dont know what they were for but the figures were on the screen above

looking good dude, do you get a R/R printout with figure's etc?..

if so, was it putting out?.

any other plans with the looks wise?

lot of transmission loss (35bhp)???? but otherwise good power results

cheers looks wise maybe gsi skirts and tints? but i dont know yet
i know alot of loss dont know how to cure that really??

the transmission loss will be down to the silly way Dastek dynos calibrate the coastdown figures. they are great dynos, used a couple myself but they always give big coastdown figures.

thats a 25% transmission loss

Very nice . I'm looking at throttle bodies now, Dave A appears to have given me a good price, just don't know if i can warrent spending it on a corsa.

Me and a few other mates are heading down there in July for a rr'd day, they meant to be pretty good rollers if thats the place.

yes, fly figure will be out due to the way the coastdown losses are calculated. more likely to be about 140-145 bhp. all dynos are different though, look at the graph, its a very smooth one so the bhp is irrelevat, 5-10 bhp wont make much difference on the road.

I reckon calculated flywheel figures should be banned, then there would be no confusion/complaining

Exhaust manifold should definitely be done ASAP, without a doubt

right well shes in need of a rebuild heres some bits and pieces ive been collecting for it...

Timing belt kit and bottom gasket set


ARP bolts, oil filter, piston rings and conrod bearings


SBD vernier pulleys, head bolts and gear shift shortner


all the gaskets.. head gasket, valve stem oil seals etc

also got a S/S exhaust manifold and a different throttle linkage

288 cams to come still...

also on the list to come hoses, header tank, ally radiator

have i missed anything out to get for this rebuild?

looks top m8 love the 1st clip and plus what i difference it is when you got it back from the body shop did you have the red repainted?

how much did the rebuild bits come to, mainly the bearings etc
